In a world of such craziness, disasters, wrong doings, and ill minded people there is an even crazier, more disastrous, and emotionally harmful world with egos, expectations, and QUEENS; That is the world of the performing arts. Not only has Kris been there to teach me the tools I need to use my instrument, she was also there to help me through the crap that comes with the career path I've chosen. You know that feeling when you can just trust advice that's given to you from a particular person? Well, Kris is a beacon of knowledge, wisdom, warmth, and fun! Truly, one of the best teachers I have ever had.

Kris Feldman has been my voice teacher for almost ten years. In that time, she has helped me find my voice and has assisted me in discovering things about my instrument that I would never have discovered myself. After only one lesson, I find myself singing healthier and with more power than I began with. And her lessons are always so positive and her methods are so nurturing that she makes you feel comfortable to try things that help you take the leap into a new and better sound. When I moved away, I tried to find another teacher but no one was able to fill Kris' shoes. Now, with lessons via Skype, I get to see her wherever I am!

Kris Feldman is a truly gifted teacher and an incredibly inspiring artist. She has an uncanny ability to lower your defenses and help change the way you think about singing! She has helped me grow more than I could have imagined. Currently on the National Tour of the Broadway musical CATS, I'm understudying 3 characters who each have completely different vocal styles: Rum Tum Tugger (the Rock N' Roll vocalist), Munkustrap (a classic, legato tenor), and Skimbleshanks (the athletic, characteristic singer). It is thanks to Kris' teachings that I am able to guide my voice into multiple styles in a healthy way! She gives us the opportunity to use our instruments correctly, explore the endless wonders that is the singing voice, and produce sounds that we may not have alone. I am (and I'm sure my vocal chords are as well) thankful for every lesson I have with Kris Feldman!

A huge blessing has been given to me! My voice is once again being handled with love, and care by Kris Feldman! It has been 2 years since my last voice lesson, and now I have the opportunity to receive them again via Skype! At first I was unsure how that would work out, but once I made the jump, it was simple and fun! It is the way of the future for us that don't have cars, or live 2,000 miles away. Thank you Kris:)

Kris Feldman is by far the best vocal teacher I have ever had. After a while, lessons with her became the highlight of my week. Even now, without her regular lessons, my voice is still growing because of the lessons Kris instilled in me. Kris took my weak voice that was stuck in my mix, and saw the potential of a large, fully developed voice. She never gave up even when I was discouraged and without hope.
Kris Feldman is not only a wonderful teacher, she is a fantastic person and a friend I will hold onto forever.

I am still looking for a vocal coach that comes even close to Kris Feldman and let me put it to you like this. I moved to San Francisco almost six years ago. In six years I haven't found anyone who knew my voice like Kris did. When I came to her I had a powerful voice but I just didn't have any control. I had some bad habits, I needed to relax my tongue more and my jaw. Control is everything for a singer and I now have plenty of it. Her lessons changed my voice forever. I am a professional singer, I sing in a band called KAMP CAMILLE. I sing sometimes every day in the week on a slow week at least twice. There's just no way I would be as successful as I am right now without Kris. She has a very compassionate way of working with you and your voice to get you sounding FANTASTIC. I just got the copies of my new CD and as I listened back to the recording it hit me it's the best I've ever heard my voice. I can't tell you how good that feels. It'll feel good for you too when you decide to take lessons with her. It's the best thing you'll ever do for your voice hands down. And one of the best things you could do for yourself.

Working with Kris has been an amazing experience for me. I met her over 10 years ago, during my high school years. I remember auditioning for a solo in my high school choir and our director told me that I was slightly tone-deaf and flat/off pitch about 50% of the song. I wasn't upset, I was motivated. I went to Kris and we started to train... the exercises she had me do, the techniques she instilled in me have proven to be irreplaceable and so valuable! Wiith her help, guidance, and unique cultivation of my vocal ability, not only did I score the big solo the year after that in my high school choir, but I went on to be a part of a 5 member boy-band! Over 300 young men auditioned, and I was able to land a major record deal in 2010! We performed for 10,000 kids at Disneyland, and, most recently, I sang the lead in a Halloween-themed circus rock show. Just goes to show that dreams DO come true and with the right lessons and right guidance, anything is possible. I owe so much to Kris for helping me to lay my foundations as a true vocalist.

I love Kris Feldman! I just finished a two week tour of an amazing rock show. I was belting my face off for two weeks and I didn't do any damage. Thanks for teaching me to sing properly and to reveal the emotion in my voice. I owe you so much!

Kris Feldman is an amazing vocal coach and she can take you and your voice so far if you completely put your trust in her. I learned very quickly to just let go during my lessons and my voice has grown by leaps and bounds. You know you are putting your voice in the right hands with Kris. She is one of my favorite people in the world and absolutely beautiful inside and out! I love you Kris! xoxo

Kris Feldman is a gifted musician, artist, and teacher. She sings like an angel and is equally at home on stage and in the studio. Her deep understanding of the voice, combined with natural talent and a life long study of music, make her the complete package.

Words cannot describe what Kris Feldman has done for me and my voice. She is a savior as well as the most brilliant voice teacher I have ever worked with! I love Kris!!!!!

Kris Feldman is one of the most artistically generous mentors with whom I’ve had the great opportunity to study. She knows that each student learns in his or her own way, and is masterful at employing the appropriate language to convey vocal concepts. Thanks to my studies with Kris Feldman I’ve gained an indispensible wealth of vocal knowledge from which I draw on an everyday basis. Kris’ instruction was a vital springboard that allowed me to launch into my musical studies at UC Berkeley. Since studying with Kris I’ve had the opportunity to work with companies like Verismo Opera, Open Opera, Bay Area Classical Harmonies (B.A.C.H), Opera on Tap, and have also had the privilege to sing in a variety of master-classes. Kris will give you the necessary tools to navigate your instrument, as well as the many demands of auditions and performance.

I would like to share that Kris Feldman of one of the most magnificent people in the world. Not only does she care deeply about each person she comes into contact with, she has an amazing wealth of love and knowledge. Within my first 5 minutes of walking into our first lesson, she helped me find my vibrato! Kris comes with the highest recommendation as a coach. She will change your life, both as a performer and as a person! ♥

Kris Feldman is more than an educator and vocalist. She is a mentor, a friend, and someone who will always lend you her full attention and support when you need it. While her passion is music and helping each of her students to succeed in vocal performance, she is also a person who will give you the strength you need to conquer any obstacle-whether it be on stage or off. She is a beautiful and loving person and she works tremendously hard-yet she does so with an elegant grace. The success of Kris' students is a also a true testament to the success of Kris herself.

I started taking voice with Kris when I was 15 to prepare me for high school theatre. On my first lesson my father, I found out later, asked her if I'd ever be able to sing on pitch. I was awful, but Kris had faith that I had something and continued working with me every week. She helped me gain control of my voice and build it to what it is today. I moved to NYC 9 years ago for college and have worked professionally in the theatre world since graduating. I worked with Kris until I moved to NYC, and I always try to go back for a lesson when I'm home visiting. She always has something new up her sleeve for me to learn, that makes my voice that much stronger. She has such a respect for the voice, and finds each student's strengths and even creates new strengths. She is always that person in the audience laughing louder than everyone and cheering louder than everyone. Her techniques are amazing, and with each lesson I find something new and exciting in my voice. On top of being a wonderful teacher technically, she is a wonderful woman. She is patient, loving and just a pleasure to share singing with. She doesn't give up on anyone. Her lessons are a safe haven, I always feel 100% better about everything after I go and sing for an hour with her. Since meeting Kris Feldman and taking voice lessons with her, I have learned so much about the voice and also about myself as a person/performer. She has given me the tools to create a full and healthy sound, and not to beat myself up if it's not perfect (which in the auditioning world is a tough feat to accomplish). I would recommend anyone who has a love of singing to go to Kris for lessons!

Kris was my first voice teacher. Every lesson was an educational journey and not just a series of compliments. Many voice teachers tend to only give positive feedback instead of constructive criticism, and there is nothing to be learned; but when I am with Kris, she knows how to use her words to guide your voice into perfect placement. She helps you understand music the way that you want to understand music. The amount of effort you put into learning is the amount she will give back in education. I have never felt so loved and appreciated and truly cared about by an instructor, and that is because she is not only an instructor, she is a mentor, and a friend, and she WANTS you to thrive. I will always thank Kris for keeping the music in my soul alive. Especially when I get that first Tony Award ;)

I love working with Kris. She's sharp as a tack, has perfect pitch, will whip up a vocal arrangement faster than you would think is humanly possible, can pick out mistakes like a needle in a haystack and has such an infectious personality that she inspires all those round her.
Also, not too many people know this, but she's an excellent flautist as well.
Oh, and by the way, she sings her a_ off!!

My working relationship with Kris Feldman started when we were in music school together. As a drummer, I have backed Kris up many times. I have found her to be a masterful singer and powerful performer as well as having a positive personality and being a great friend.
As a teacher she has produced fine results with a few of her students that I have been acquainted with. I would highly recommend Kris as a teacher and performer without hesitation.

I've been studying voice with Kris since the age of 8. Her immense knowledge of all aspects of the voice and her skill in transmitting that knowledge to her students has allowed me to successfully sing any style, be it opera, death metal or anything in between. And her voice makes grown men cry. What more do you want?
Rabbi Rick Shafarman - Congregation Beth Chaverim
I have had the pleasure of working with Kris Feldman on several different levels and on several different projects.
As a voice teacher and mentor to my children she has greatly improved their vocal presentations and have enabled them to reach musical goals that otherwise might have eluded them. She also gave my daughter in particular the confidence to stand in front of a crowd and use her vocal instrument to its greatest potential.
As the Rabbi for the congregation she serves as Musical Director, I have enjoyed the beauty she has brought to our services. Her arrangements are silky, her understanding of what we are trying to convey is flawless despite the fact that ours is not her religious tradition, and the sensitivity she brings to her presentation touches all in attendance. She has also shown a remarkable ability to embrace Hebrew, which is a VERY foreign language, and pronounce difficult words perfectly as she chants. In addition she has worked with me on my readings and has made me a better pulpit communicator. And, our group generally agrees that I was a terrible singer but she has helped me attain some semblance of respectability and I am even working toward good (although that might be a stretch).
As a friend, I am truly blessed that she uses that term to describe me.

I first met Kris 15 years ago when my daughter started taking voice lessons with her. Kris took my daughter's voice from good to phenomenal. Kris not only taught my daughter how to sing properly, but she also taught her how to present herself at auditions for plays, and eventually and audition for AMDA in New York City. Kris was able to install a confidence in my daughter that allowed her to put pursue her dreams. I started working with Kris four years ago, and she has helped me step up my game at my temple as a cantor, and due to my own physical handicaps, she has taught me how to breathe differently so I can get the most volume with minimum effort. Kris just does not teach music to a person, she helps the person to become more comfortable with their voice and their capabilities.

Kris brings clarity to the music. Her voice, regardless of the melody, has a brightness that invites people to listen, to involve themselves in what she is singing.

Kris is very gifted, and a genius in her own right; especially when it comes to assigning exercises to develop your voice. In less than 10 lessons, all over the phone, she brought my voice from being stuck at not quite an octave and a half I could use, to 3 1/2. Including a high C#, for a soprano. In full voice! No I'll never need to sing anything that high, but it is nice not to have to worry about range, and be able to just concentrate on music!
